Heavyweight powerhouse Daniel Dubois has firmly established himself as one of the most dangerous and exciting fighters in world boxing, rising from teenage prodigy to two-time world heavyweight champion.

Promoter Frank Warren once described Dubois as “the best young heavyweight talent” he had worked with — praise that has continued to ring true throughout Dubois’ rise through the division.

The exceptional London-born fighter burst onto the professional scene with a string of devastating knockout victories, capturing multiple titles early in his career including the WBC Youth World Heavyweight Championship, Southern Area title, English title, British title, Commonwealth title and eventually world honours.

Dubois first announced himself on the national stage by stopping Mauricio Barragan inside two rounds to win the WBC Youth title while still a teenager. From there, he rapidly built a reputation as one of boxing’s most feared punchers, stopping opponents including AJ Carter, Tom Little, Razvan Cojanu, Richard Lartey and Nathan Gorman in explosive fashion.

His victory over Gorman at London’s O2 Arena crowned him British heavyweight champion and cemented his status as one of the leading young heavyweights in the sport.

Training under the guidance of respected coach Don Charles, Dubois has continued to evolve into a complete world-level fighter, combining elite power with resilience, composure and championship mentality.

Dubois reached the summit of the heavyweight division when he captured the IBF World Heavyweight Championship before further cementing his legacy by becoming a two-time world heavyweight champion.

Most recently, Dubois added another defining chapter to his career with a dramatic victory over Fabio Wardley at Manchester’s Co-op Live on 9 May 2026. In a brutal all-British clash for the WBO World Heavyweight Championship, Dubois overcame adversity in a thrilling back-and-forth battle before stopping the previously unbeaten Wardley in the 11th round.

The fight was widely praised as one of the heavyweight division’s modern classics, showcasing Dubois’ heart, power and ability to perform under the brightest lights. The victory crowned him WBO World Heavyweight Champion and confirmed his status as a two-time heavyweight world champion.

Still only entering his prime years, Dubois continues to prove that he belongs amongst the elite names in world boxing, with many believing his story is only just beginning.
